Singapore~Nightlifes

Nightlifes which you can found in Singapore

Clarke Quay
Glittering lights, beautiful people and buzzing bars – these are some of the things that imprint themselves on your mind the first time you visit Clarke Quay. And its great reputation is well warranted; with its kaleidoscope of hip bars and nightspots along the Singapore River, Clarke Quay is certainly a great nightlife location.

Bar Cocoon @ The Forbidden City
Bar CoCoon offers a cozy venue for lounging, socializing and clubbing with the unusual addition of massive opium beds enveloped by silk lanterns and drapery with lit incense, creating – you guessed it – a cocoon-like effect. Boasting the dubious distinction of being on the 'Best Bars to Break up In' list, Cocoon has a curious mixture of antiquity and modernity and part of the property is devoted to Singapore's first ice bar. With an extreme conditioned, temperature-controlled unit, the bar has a running temperature of -15 degrees Celsius, making it Singapore's largest and coldest ice bar.

KPO Café Bar , orchard road
KPO is so named as it’s located between the junctions of Killiney, Penang and Orchard Roads. The design, place, architecture and everything else within KPO reflects our philosophy of life. In addition, touches of modern flair creates a rather natural urban landmark that plays a double act – as a post office and an all-day café bar and this makes it a perfect spot for breakfast meetings or late-night cozy get-togethers.

Zouk Wine Bar
Any review of the Singapore club scene should begin with Zouk (17, Jiak Kim Street, 7382988). This hugely popular club, which has been compared with some of the best in Europe, plays mainly House music to a mostly young crowd. Zouk's music is spun by its seven resident DJs, while regular live acts from visiting artistes - such as Galliano, Chemical Brothers, Heart and Kylie Minogue -- are an added draw. Wednesday is Mambo Jambo night, when the club shakes off its techno garb and plays a mix of 70s to 90s pop.
For those with an aversion to heavy Techno, the Zouk establishment also houses Velvet Underground, where the crowd is slightly older and the music is mainly Soul and Garage. The mood here is sophisticated and futuristic: the walls are adorned in velvet and hung with original modern art works, and the furniture has a Bauhaus feel.
Adjoining the Zouk main building is Phuture, where the music is a more eclectic mixture of Trip Hop, Drum 'n' Bass and Down Tempo. The décor is a futuristic, space-agey blend of steel, liquids-in-glass-vials and state-of-the-art lighting.
As the real action at Zouk and its sister discos doesn't begin until midnight, the popular place to hang out in the meantime between dinner and dance is Zouk Wine Bar. This stylish bar is a great place for people-watching.
